Co-Study

Satellite Program

We are looking for people to join us in expanding the circle of art.

The "Study: Osaka Kansai International ArtsFestival (organized by the Osaka Kansai International Art Festival Executive Committee)," which has attracted more than 1 million visitors in the past three festivals and has presented a new world by exploring the "relationship between art and society" with many curators and artists, is launching the official satellite program "Co-Study" of the Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival, with the aim of expanding the circle of art in a two-way manner while working together. Participants are being recruited from all over the country.

In 2025, the Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival will be held as part of the "Public Art" section of the "Art Expo" part of the "Future Society Showcase Project" at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, organized by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition. As part of the official program of the "Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival 2025," public art works by domestic and international artists will be exhibited at various locations within the Osaka-Kansai Expo site, and outside the Expo site, ambitious and unique exhibitions and curations will be held in various locations, such as the Osaka International Convention Center, Tempozan Bunkakan, the Semba district, the birthplace of Osaka culture, and Nishinari Ward, Osaka City, which has been influenced by Japan's economic growth since the 1970 Osaka Expo.

"Co-Study," implemented by this art festival, is a satellite program for team building that will expand the circle of art throughout Japan.

We are calling for proposals from all over Japan, and are looking for art projects and events that we can all (Co-)excite together. There are a variety of art works and activities in Japan. By participating in "Co-Study", we hope to be able to introduce some of your activities and expressions. In cooperation with the art festival, we will hold the event during the festival period, and provide an opportunity to disseminate information in a two-way manner.

Please read the recruitment requirements below and apply.
