Concept of the work
Word Approaching
"Word Approaching" uses the same language system as station display boards. Like waiting for a train at Osaka Station, here a “word” arrives every minute—three in total over the three-minute video. These words are fragments overheard by chance while in transit. “When I’m mad, I think of the person who made me mad. That way, the anger stays small.” In a place where people usually rush past, these words reach those who pause a minute. They land gently, sharply—like everyone’s words finding a listener.
