Profile
Born in Hyogo Prefecture. Actor and artist. Works in a wide range of genres including music, film production, and art. Won the 46th Japan Academy Prize for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for the film “Sakananoko” in which she starred. She has been exhibiting ribbon art continuously since 2020, including “Yanbaru Art Festival”; Giant Ribbon Art “Butterflies and Banyan Trees” (2021); Ribbon Art drawn by Itsuka, the main character in the movie “Ribbon,” which she wrote, directed and starred in (2022); “Non Ribbon Exhibition - Eerie and Cute Things” (GALLERY X BY PARCO, Shibuya); “Butterflies in the city” (2022) “ikuno art stay 2023 non ribbon art”; “Trial production - room of bright red child” (2023) “Non Ribbon exhibition - weird and cute things. (Sendai PARCO); collaboration with traditional crafts “Kokeshi lanterns” and “Akabeko” (2023). Participated in “Kobe Rokko Meets Art 2024 beyond” as an invited artist, and received the 16th Juzo Itami Award in 2024.
