Profile
Born 1987 in Osaka and currently resides in Kyoto, Japan. 2013 Completed the graduate course in oil painting at Kyoto City University of Arts, Kyoto, Japan. Studied fresco painting at university, and has created and exhibited in various public spaces such as hotels and city halls. He has been working to create murals that remember contemporary society while using homogenized urban and suburban landscapes as motifs.
Recent major solo exhibitions include “Chikudo Kouki” (The Triangle, Kyocera Museum of Art, Kyoto, 2024), “Letter from Beyond” (ARTCOURTGALLERY, Osaka, 2022), and major group exhibitions include “MOT Annual 2024 Kofuku no Shima” (Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, Tokyo, 2024), Fragments of Homo Faber: The Future of People and Manufacturing” (Aichi Prefectural Museum of Ceramic Art, Aichi, 2022), etc.
