Study: Osaka Kansai International Arts Festival is currently accepting donations from companies and organizations that wish to support the festival.

Study: Osaka Kansai International Arts Festival Executive Committee (within Art Rogue Inc.) will hold the art event "Study: Osaka Kansai International Arts Festival 2025", which will feature exhibitions, art fairs, and art projects in various locations in the Osaka and Kansai region, in conjunction with the 2025 World Expo, Japan (Osaka-Kansai Expo), which will be held from Sunday, April 13th to Monday, October 13th, 2025.

Based on the theme of "social impact," which refers to culture and arts, economic revitalization, and bringing to light social issues, the event will promote Kansai culture and arts to the world through the Osaka area, as well as promote international exchange through art, including projects in collaboration with countries around the world.
As part of the funding for this art festival, we will work with local governments to utilize a corporate version of hometown tax donations in order to promote the use of private funds in the cultural and artistic fields.

How to Support

How to support

We currently accept donations in the following ways:

1. Corporate hometown tax payment system

The festival will use a corporate version of hometown tax donations from Matsubara City (Osaka Prefecture) as a source of funding for regional revitalization.
The corporate version of hometown tax (tax system to support regional revitalization) is a system that allows companies to receive tax benefits when they make donations to regional revitalization projects run by nationally certified local governments.
The burden on companies making donations will be reduced by up to approximately 90%, benefiting both companies and local governments.
※Reference:What is Corporate Hometown Tax?
Example: If you donate 10 million yen, your corporate tax will be reduced by up to approximately 9 million yen.

Matsubara City will act as the contact point, allowing companies across the country to make donations.
● Corporate donation recipient: Matsubara City, Osaka Prefecture
How donations will be used: Osaka Kansai International Arts Festival Executive Committee (to be used for various projects of the festival)

* Award of the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon: Companies that have donated more than 10 million yen will be submitted to the national government by Matsubara City as candidates for the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon. (The final decision on whether to award the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon is made by the national government.)
*This year's art festival was supported by Matsubara City in that it aims to disseminate art to the world from Osaka/Kansai. Mayor Sawai Hirofumi, who is the chairman of the Expo Mayors' Union, which consists of 666 cities, wards, towns and villages nationwide, and the Kinki Mayors' Association, which consists of 111 cities in the Kinki region, aims to revitalize the region through art.
Through this initiative, we aim to create an arts festival that will boost the cultural and artistic industry from the Kansai region.
