The world-famous "Reshaped Reality" exhibition is coming to Japan for the first time! - Osaka Culturarium Tempozan (formerly Suntory Museum) -
"Reshaped Reality" is an exhibition of human sculptures with a focus on hyper-realism. This traveling exhibition, which has received acclaim and attracted large numbers of visitors in countries such as the Bilbao Museum of Fine Arts in Spain (152,669 visitors) and the Rotterdam Kunsthalle in the Netherlands (219,183 visitors), is coming to Japan for the first time. The hyper-realistic expressions and deformed and transformed bodies raise the fundamental question of "What is a human being?" Experience the reality of life, which is also reflected in the Expo's vision of a "future society where life shines."
Please enjoy the world of hyperrealist sculpture, which consists of 39 works by 27 internationally renowned artists, including British artist Ron Mueck, Australian artist Sam Jinks, and Maurizio Cattelan, whose work of bananas glued together with duct tape became a hot topic.

Research Project “Successor Problem (TBC)," "Never give up. Kamagasaki Art Center," and "Cafe Atariya: front, back, middle and corner" - Nishinari Area
The area known as "Kamagasaki" in Nishinari Ward, Osaka City, was once known as a town for day laborers, and many workers flocked there during the period of rapid economic growth. In recent years, the area has been facing various social changes, including an aging population, poverty, an increase in foreign residents, and rising land prices due to real estate investment.
Since its launch in 2022, this art festival has been focusing on art practices in this area.
Kamagasaki Art University was founded in 2012 by Ueda Kanayo, who has been active in the area for over 20 years, and NISHINARI YOSHIO (Nishio Yoshinari + Kioku Shugei-Kan “Tansu”) is a fashion brand launched by artist Nishio Yoshiya in collaboration with elderly women from the area. This is the fourth time that these two artists have exhibited at the festival, and they are developing their own unique artistic practices while having deep ties to the area.
Furthermore, a new cafe called "Atariya" will be launched, curated by Production Zomia, in the Sanno Harmonica Nagaya, a building with a history of about 100 years that has retained its Showa-era atmosphere through repeated renovations and expansions. This space, which is still undergoing restoration, aims to become a place where new creations and interactions can be born.

NON Ribbon Exhibition: Mysterious and Cute Things. - Flocking Together -
-National Museum of Ethnology-
Actor and artist Non's "NON Ribbon Exhibition: Mysterious and Cute Things. - Flocking Together -" is currently being held at the National Museum of Ethnology (Special Exhibition Hall, basement), designed by Kisho Kurokawa. Non's motifs—kokeshi dolls, akabeko (red beko), shirobeko (white beko), and Tanabata (Star Festival) ornaments—are sculptures that have been passed down as folk tools throughout Japan since ancient times. Through her work, she creates new ways to preserve these folk tools for future generations. A large-scale installation features 15 "kokeshi lanterns," including 10 new pieces with multi-layered red ribbons on their backs, lined up in a black underground space. Non's "cute and eerie" world of ribbon art unfolds, featuring pieces like "Shirobeko with Butterflies," "Bright Red Child's Nest," and "Tanabata Decorations."
