Officially licensed sake for the Osaka-Kansai Expo, "EXPO 2025 Ⅵ [Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival]," will be released on September 20th by Niizawa Brewery, with artist KANEUJI Teppei
The Osaka Kansai International Art Festival Executive Committee (within ARTLOGUE Inc.) is collaborating with Niizawa Brewery Co., Ltd. (Miyagi Prefecture, CEO Niizawa Iwao) to begin selling two sakes: "EXPO 2025 Ⅵ [Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival] Super Junmai Daiginjo," an ultra-high-polished sake with a 1% rice polishing ratio, and "EXPO 2025 Ⅵ [Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival] Junmai Daiginjo," with a 50% rice polishing ratio. The labels feature a work by contemporary artist KANEUJI Teppei, currently on display at the Osaka Kansai Expo site. Both are limited-time products certified as "Officially Licensed Products of the Osaka Kansai Expo."

Profile
Born in 1978, artist and sculptor. Associate Professor, Department of Sculpture, Faculty of Fine Arts, Kyoto City University of Arts. He creates works using collage-like techniques, using everyday objects as materials. He has held solo exhibitions at Yokohama Museum of Art (2009), Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (2013), Marugame Genichiro-Inokuma Museum of Contemporary Art (2016), and other venues. He has participated in exhibitions both in Japan and abroad. He also works on stage design, and has received numerous awards, including the Kyoto City New Artist Award in 2012. This work is also on display at the Osaka Expo site as part of "Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival / EXPO PUBLIC ART."
