~Produced by the international contemporary art festival "Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival 2025"~
Starting Friday, May 2, 2025, the art space "CASO" in the Osaka Bay Area will host Europe's most cutting-edge immersive art exhibition, "EUROPEAN DIGITAL ART EXPERIENCE: THE IMMERSIVE IN OSAKA 2025 (ImmersiveArtExperience.com)."
This exhibition has been planned as part of "Study: Osaka Kansai International Arts Festival 2025," an international arts festival being held during the Osaka, Kansai Expo, and will be held from Friday, May 2nd to Wednesday, May 14th, coinciding with EU National Day (May 9th).
This exhibition is curated by Stefano FAKE, founder of the Florence, Italy-based THE FAKE FACTORY, an award-winning international art festival-based collective that focuses on immersive artworks such as video mapping and light art. As one of Europe's most cutting-edge digital art collectives, the group uses light, sound and video to lead viewers into the works.
Utilizing phygital technology (a method of expression that combines digital and physical spaces), the exhibition connects with the physical world through light, providing viewers with an aesthetically refined sensory experience.

This immersive art exhibition will feature work from leading artists who have been working in the field of immersive digital art for many years.

◼︎Comment from Curator Stefano FAKE
Immersive digital art is art that aims to draw the viewer into the work and immerse them in the work itself. It uses light, sound, video, and animation to stimulate and involve the viewer's senses. The artist aims to create a space that acts as a "container for emotions" and generate a seamless flow of sensations. Andy Warhol once said that "Pop art is about loving things," but in his words, immersive art is about "loving people." This is because installations in this genre create a significant relationship between the artist and the viewer.
Over the past 20 years, new forms of artistic expression have been born one after another. At the same time, the consciousness of the viewer has changed, and instead of "appreciating the work," it is now required to "immerse oneself in the flow of the senses." In phygital art, digital data is linked to the physical world through light, providing the viewer with an aesthetically refined sensory experience.
This exhibition will introduce works by artists who have taken on new forms of expression and promoted European creativity to the world.
