[February 13th (Thursday) 13:00 in Osaka] Announcement of media presentation
"Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival 2025" will hold a media presentation on the 3rd floor of Blooming Camp in Gran Green Osaka on Thursday, February 13th, 2025, regarding the official art program of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, "Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival / EXPO PUBLIC ART," as well as art programs to be held in the Osaka area around the same time as the Expo .
During the Osaka-Kansai Expo, this art festival will be held in various locations symbolizing Osaka, including the Expo site in Yumeshima, Osaka Culturarium Tempozan designed by Tadao Ando, Osaka Prefectural International Conference Center (Nakanoshima) designed by KUROKAWA Kisho, and the Nishinari and Semba districts. The fourth festival in 2025 will be held as an art festival that plays a role in connecting the Osaka-Kansai Expo with the entire Osaka area, and will be implemented as an "art festival that studies the relationship between people, art, and society" through domestic and international art projects.
The press conference will feature SUZUKI Daisuke, general producer of "Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival 2025," as well as several curators and participating artists. In the second part, there will be a talk session between Suzuki and Mayor Yamaguchi of Osaka Minato Ward, where one of the art event venues is located .
