Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival 2025: Gallery tour of the exhibition "Reshaped Reality" currently being held at Osaka Culturarium Tempozan
The exhibition "Reshaped Reality," which reconsiders "what is a human being?" through hyper-realistic depictions of the human body, is holding a gallery tour! It offers an art experience that blurs the boundaries between reality and fiction.
The Osaka Kansai International Art Festival Executive Committee (ARTLOGUE Inc., Head Office: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, Chairman: Suzuki Daisuke) will hold a premium gallery tour mainly on weekends, accompanied by an exhibition coordinator, to allow you to enjoy the highlights and background of the works in greater depth. Twelve tours will be held from June 28th to October 12th at Osaka Culturarium, Tempozan (formerly Suntory Museum). The guide will be Miyake Atsuhiro, the exhibition coordinator and co-representative of the curatorial collective "HB." This is a special opportunity to hear valuable stories that you would not normally be able to know, such as the historical background of the production, the artist's intentions, and the behind-the-scenes of the exhibition.

At the Osaka-Kansai Expo, realistic android robots that utilize cutting-edge technology are attracting attention, but the history of hyperrealist sculpture, which has been developing in the international art scene for more than 50 years, is sure to provide an experience of new discoveries and surprises for not only art fans but the general public.
The "Reshaped Reality" exhibition that has amazed the world has arrived in Japan for the first time!
"Reshaped Reality" is an exhibition of human sculptures focusing on hyper-realism. This is the first time in Japan for this traveling exhibition that has been highly praised and visited many countries, including the Museum of Fine Arts of Bilbao in Spain (152,669 visitors) and the Kunsthalle Rotterdam in the Netherlands (219,183 visitors). The extremely realistic expressions and deformed and transformed bodies raise the fundamental question of "What is a human being?" Please feel the reality of life, which is also connected to the "future society where life shines" that the Expo promotes.
