■Skateboard workshop by COOK, an international artist from Osaka

COOK

COOK, who is also known for the giant murals at the Osaka Kansai Expo and Matsubara City's "Okusama-jirushi Skateboard Park," will be upcycling old skateboard decks collected in Matsubara City and holding a workshop with children. This will be COOK's first time holding a workshop with children. Children will create artwork with their names on it on the spot, which they can take home as a "special memory of Matsubara." Participation is free for children.

*This project is also collaborating with "NEXT STEP OLLIE," an SDGs promotion initiative run by businesses in Matsubara City that is working to correct disparities in skateboarding experiences.

Musicians who are leading the Osaka reggae scene will participate and perform live and DJ sets. Music will also connect the local area with visitors. Experience the charm of "Osaka reggae culture" where music and art are fused together.

[PIKKAL fr KING JAM] (Pikkal): Originally from Osaka, they create an international reggae sound and are also active in New York and the Caribbean.

[Jr.SANTA]: A young reggae artist from Kishiwada City who also works in Jamaica.

[ZENDAMAN]: A next-generation reggae artist from Iwate Prefecture, currently based in Jamaica
