<Held on January 17th (Fri) and 18th (Sat)> We will be setting up a Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival workshop booth at the Lantern Festival in Matsubara

The Lantern Festival in Matsubara will be held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Matsubara City's municipal incorporation!
The event is based on the famous Lantern Festival in Taipei, Taiwan, where Wenshan District, which has an effective urban agreement with Matsubara City, is located. Participants will write their wishes and other wishes on Sky Lanterns®, which will create a new sight in the Matsubara night sky.

Study: As partner cities, the Osaka Kansai International Art Festival 2025 and Matsubara City will work together to build excitement for the Osaka Kansai Expo in 2025.
At the Matsubara Lantern Festival, we will be running the Study: Osaka Kansai International Art Festival Workshop booth.

Lantern Festival in Matsubara

January 18th (Sat) 15:00-18:30 (Sky Lantern® launch at 18:00)
*The January event will be held as a pre-event. The main event is scheduled to be held in April, May, June, and September.
Admission fee:
Free (lantern purchasers will need to pay an additional lantern fee of 3,000 yen per lantern)
* Workshop participation is free
