Born in 1980, Casotto currently splits his time between London and Padova. A makeup artist who has worked on a number of international television and film productions, he also pursues a personal artistic endeavor that includes painting, video and sculpture. A recurring element in his work is the consideration of individual as well as collective identities over time. Casotto sees his work as an invitation for viewers to reexamine themselves and break traditional boundaries. By reconsidering temporal variables such as past, present and future in relation to one's own identity, he breaks traditional boundaries.
